Welcome to The Waterberg Research Support Centre

The Waterberg is a unique area with breathtaking views, rugged beauty and a mystical presence of history and things still to be discovered and deserves to be comprehensively documented, protected, conserved and effectively managed.
Waterberg Research Support is a voluntary platform to:
CREATE, inspire and instill a passion for the Waterberg through sharing research & biodiversity information in an accessible fun way and by making the community and visitors part of the platform through the sharing of information and interesting findings.
SERVE as a centralised point of research and information collection and dispersal – the foundational phase in improving research efforts in the Waterberg.
Give SUPPORT to researchers in the Waterberg through the provision of existing & relevant Waterberg research and indicating important research gaps that need to be filled.
The Waterberg Research Support Centre (WRSC) Non-Profit Company (NPC) was founded in September 2021 and was registered as a Public Benefit Organisation under Section 18A.
Our objective
